by Dr. Peter Mitchell

'I Quite Enjoyed That' are the memoirs and letters of Dr. Peter Sydney Mitchell (1923-1997). He wrote this in the last years of his life, and together with his surviving letters and photographs, it makes up a record of his life up until the 1950s, when he entered General Practice in Wootton Bassett. The memoirs cover his recollections of his parents and grandparents, his early life in South Wales and Newquay, his school days at Clifton College in Bristol, the out break of World War Two, his entry into the Army through to going ashore in Normandy on D-Day, and his time in Germany after the War.
